1. I agree to breed only the best stock as stipulated by the American King Shepherd Standard of the Breed to improve the breed for the future.
2. I agree to select all breeding pairs according to the KSCIR Rules and Regulations.
3. I agree to review littermate information.
4. I agree that I will not breed any American King Shepherd that possesses genetic diseases which include hip dysplasia and heart disease.
5. I agree as a breeder dedicated to the American King Shepherd to present my stock with honesty to inquiries about my dogs.
6. I agree not to make misrepresentations regarding any specific dog, breeder or the American King Shepherd breed in public, on private forums or via the internet.
7. I agree to act in a professional manner in public when representing the breed and will refer questions to the breeding committee if I am not sure of the correct answer. 
8. I agree to study the faults and virtues of past generations that my breeding may produce and should contact the Breeding Committee for advice when necessary.
9. I agree to provide proper care, health, nutrition, socialization and training.  All dogs/puppies should be kept in optimum conditions.
10. I agree to inform the Breeding Committee if I have an accidental breeding as soon as possible.
11. I agree to register my litters with the KSCIR and not to “dual register” my KSCIR King Shepherds with any other registry with the exception of showing.
12. I will do everything possible to collect and maintain LMI on my litters.
13. I agree that any American King Shepherd I produce, with no exceptions, must be sold with a guarantee and uphold them in a timely manner.  I agree to the best of my ability to maintain my co-ownerships, breeding contracts, spay/neuter contracts.
14. I agree to if not support my fellow sanctioned breeders, at least refrain from negative commentary when discussing the breed with prospective American King Shepherd owners, judges, media, etc.
