The KSCI will honor all AKSC Championships.

All dogs seeking an KSCI Championship who are not grandfathered will need to complete Win Sheets and submit them to the KSCI Secretary.  The KSCI Secretary will notify you when your King Shepherd attains his KSCI Championship.

KSCI Top Dogs & Top Puppy

 

  1. All King Shepherds competing for these awards must have KSCI Adult Breeding Registration Certificates and have obtained their Breed Championship prior to the close of the fiscal year.*

  1. Point Tabulation will be kept by the Show Chair on a continuing basis:
    1. Best of Breed winner will win 1 point for each King Shepherd over the age of 6 months defeated in competition including self.
    2. Best of Opposite winner will win 1 point less than the Best of Breed winner.

  1. The highest scoring dog/bitch at the end of the fiscal year will earn the title of Grand Victor and Grand Victrix.  The winners will carry the “GV” prefix in their registered name.

  1. The next 10 highest scoring dogs/bitches earn the prestigious title of National Select.  All National Select winners will carry the “NS” prefix in their registered name.

  1. This is an annual tabulation which will commence on January 1st and end on December 31st.*

  1. The King Shepherd must be registered with the KSCI to qualify. * 

Top Puppy

 

  1. Any KSCI dog which has attained their Adult Championship but is not eligible to obtain their Adult Registration due to age, and has accumulated GV/NS points is eligible to compete for the title of Puppy of the Year. 
  2. Puppy of the Year will be awarded to the dog and bitch with the highest total of GV/NS points.

  1. Puppy of the Year will be awarded at the same time as GV/NS awards.

  1. The dog/bitch must be registered with the KSCI.*

ALL POINTS ARE CALCULATED BASED ON WIN SHEETS SUBMITTED TO THE KSCI

 

*Clarifications for 2007 ONLY.

ALL KSCI Member Dogs are eligible for Top Dog and/or Top Puppy Status.  You do not need a KSCI registration.

 

Points will be awarded for 2007 ONLY from August 1, 2007 through the end of the show season, which is different for each organization.  See list below.

 

KSCI Show Season Ends on September 21, 2007

AKSC Show Season Ends on October 21, 2007

Rarities & NAKC Show Season Ends on October 28, 2007

ARBA Show Season Ends on November 11, 2007
